Welcome to the Fennville Rod and Gun Club!  The club is looking forward to another fun filled and productive year in 2013.

The Fennville Rod and Gun Club is a non-profit volunteer operated organization dedicated to the preservation of the great outdoors, and the ongoing promotion of all the shooting sports. FRGC is located in the heart of the beautiful Allegan State Game Area covering twenty acres. The facility includes three lighted trap ranges, two skeet fields, one lighted, and a covered rifle/pistol range with 25, 50, 100, 200, and 400 meter berms.  The Fennville Gun Club has a full service air conditioned clubhouse. We have plenty of seating, and a cozy woodstove stoked full in the winter months to keep the shooters warm as the day`s stories are shared.

We would like to thank all of our members and shooters for a successful 2012. We finished the year with 540 members and held more shooting events than ever before. Our regular Tuesdays and Saturdays were phenomenal with open trap and skeet rounds and many new faces have become regulars! We had our 1st Skeet League last fall with 30 shooters/15 teams and it was a huge success. Skeet shooting is growing and that’s great to see. We are looking into some improvements for the skeet machines for this spring – we’ll keep you posted.

Youth – We have a great program for young people that would like to try trap and skeet shooting, thanks to a grant from the Friends of NRA. Here’s a great chance to introduce a youth (under 18) to the sport. You pay for the round ($2.50 for kids) and the club will supply the shells for up to 5 rounds. The program is limited to one card per youth per year. What a great opportunity to share the sport at a reasonable cost. You do not have to be a member to participate. Our Club’s success depends on bringing more young people into it.
